Discover Dundee: Europe’s Game Development Hotspot

This year there is an additional interactive day lined up in Dundee – Europe’s Game Development Hotspot and birthplace of Grand Theft Auto and Lemmings hosted by the Scottish Government and 4J Studios.
Meet at the InterContinental Edinburgh, George Hotel lobby at 9:30am. Bus leaves at 10am sharp for the 1.5-hour drive to Dundee.
This event kicks off at the innovative Water’s Edge, a vibrant and inspiring venue overlooking the River Tay, perfectly suited for an afternoon of demonstrations, speakers, discussions and networking opportunities. Find out why Dundee is a major hub for game development and home to over 30 games companies.
Lunch and drinks will be flowing to allow for a relaxed atmosphere to exchange ideas and spark conversations in a dynamic setting.
After a short walk, along the water’s edge of the River Tay, the evening continues with a private drinks reception at the spectacular V&A Dundee—Scotland’s design museum—where we will be able to unwind and take in the truly stunning architecture and exhibitions.
Buses depart Dundee at 10:00pm for those that are returning to Edinburgh.
Roundtrip transportation from Edinburgh hotel to Dundee venue is included for those returning to Edinburgh.
