The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), in partnership with Video Games Intelligence (VGI), is delighted to announce that Phil Harrison, corporate vice president, Microsoft, will headline as keynote speaker to kick off the 2nd annual D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Europe Conference. Returning to London’s Royal Garden Hotel Kensington on Sept. 23-24, 2014, D.I.C.E. Europe gathers executive leaders and influencers to promote spirited discussion about the state of the interactive entertainment industry.
Throughout his 30-year career in the games industry, Harrison has consistently been at the forefront of shaping some of the industry’s most acclaimed products and innovations. At D.I.C.E. Europe, he will share his vision of the future of interactive entertainment as part of his opening address on the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 23 – speaking to the conference theme, “Without Borders."
The creative culture of the interactive entertainment industry is global. The audience spans everyone, from infants to octogenarians. The stories and experiences are infinite, and the technology is constantly evolving, finding new ways to engage.
Attendees at D.I.C.E. Europe will look at the global nature of interactive entertainment with an eye towards unique future developments, emerging markets, and the companies and individuals driving the proliferation of all things interactive.
The conference will gear up with a friendly go-karting tournament on Tuesday, Sept. 23, followed by Harrison’s opening keynote in the evening and a welcome party to cap off the first day. Wednesday, Sept. 24, will feature a full day of speaker programming where speakers will discuss the conference theme, “Without Borders,” before wrapping up with a closing night party.
